So the show must go on - even without Roger and a couple of other guys and the blanket lady. Dispite loosing three to four memebers of our cast, we had a productive day. We learned harmonies and angry dancing for "Rent," we learned what "La Vie Boheme" really means, and we found some amazing costume peices such as rocking shoes and skirts. Well, that's an exciting start, isn't it?
To catch you up, this is our forth day of "camp" working on RENT and it seems to be going well...maybe as long as you don't count people dropping out. We've got "Seasons of Love" pretty much down, which is good being as we have to perform it on Friday. We've done some of our blocking and we need to have that all down by Monday (we think). We learned not to loose our dignity singing to round of "Will I." Yesterday we got more into our characters by talking with some people from AIDS Care Services and PFLAG about living with AIDS, being gay, and drugs in the 1990s and now.
Overall, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster, but, as we said, the show much go on.
Peace & Love,
